"Bill and I decided to take a trip to Nottingham to
see the trams the buses and the sights.
What we're offering here is a fantastic set of
photos of that day out.
Nottingham is a large, modern, vibrant city which
has retained some of it's best historical buildings and complemented
them with some brilliant modern architecture. The water feature in
Market Square is typical of this complementary theme.
We got lots of fabulous shots of local buses,
trains and trams. You will note that all the trams have 'Names'
honouring famous dignitaries.
There are a wide variety of colours when
photographing the buses as each area served is colour coded. Plus
there are several operators with their own distinct liveries. In
addition, Nottingham & District Omnibus, operate the Bellamy's
Heritage Service, using ex-London Routemasters!"
Unfortunately the Heritage
Service has since been suspended (This makes these photos much rarer!)
This is a very comprehensive set of photos taken in
our own inimitable style. We always try to capture the extra
details which others leave out.
We've edited this set down to 150+ shots from a
shoot of around 400 photos.
I hope you like it as much as Bill and I
enjoyed our day in Nottingham.
You'll love this excellent set. And the
price!
